Overview
Award Certificate is a prestigious, ceremonial certificate for honouring an achievement: employee of the year, a competition winner, a long-service or innovation award. A deep burgundy border carries fine gold guilloche bands and corner medallions around an ivory panel with a faint banknote-style rosette. A drawn gold award seal with ribbons sits between the two signature lines. Titles are set in the classical Cinzel capitals with EB Garamond, and the Arabic version in Scheherazade New.
Four real language versions
- Arabic: a mirrored right-to-left layout, not just translated text. The certificate number moves to the top right, the date to the top left and the first signatory to the right. Western digits (0–9) are used throughout, and the certificate number stays left-to-right in its own object.
- English, French and Spanish: natural award wording in each language, with correct accents (including accented capitals such as EMPLOYÉE DE L’ANNÉE and AÑO).
- The intro and citation lines are worded to suit everyone; the award line can be written in the masculine or feminine form per person.
Fill in many names at once
- One HTML file per language opens in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and fills the certificate from a CSV list (name, award, date, certificate number, plus optional signatories and wording).
- One certificate per row, each printed or saved as PDF on its own page. Long names shrink automatically to fit.
- A sample CSV list with three names is included for each language.
Two sizes, for the print shop and the office printer
- A4 landscape (297 × 210 mm) with 3 mm bleed: PDF page 303 × 216 mm.
- US Letter landscape (11 × 8.5 in) with 0.125 in bleed: PDF page 11.25 × 8.75 in.
- All text sits at least 24 mm inside the trim, well inside the 10 mm / 0.4 in safe area; the border runs into the bleed.
- Print-shop PDFs with embedded fonts and TrimBox/BleedBox, separate "with-guides" PDFs for proofing, and "office" PDFs at the exact A4 or Letter page size with a white margin for desktop printers.
Editable sources
- 8 SVG files (4 languages × 2 sizes) with live text and named layers: Artwork, Logo and Seal, Text and Guides.
- 4 HTML/CSS files (one per language, both sizes) that the PDFs were made from, with colour variables, a size switch, guides and office-print options.
- PNG previews of every language and size.
Good to know
- The PDFs are RGB. Print shops convert them to CMYK; the README explains how to convert with your printer's profile. The gold is a printed colour, not foil.
- This is a design file package: no printing service and no editing software are included.
- All sample details are fictional (organisation, crest, recipients, signatories, dates and certificate numbers); the signature flourishes are generic drawings, meant to be replaced or signed by hand.
