Overview
QR Digital Business Card is a bold, tech-style business card for a software or digital-studio professional, with a front and a back. An electric cobalt front with white type and a pixel pattern that echoes QR modules, and a white back with a fine dot grid, set in Space Grotesk and Tajawal.
Real, scannable QR codes
- The back carries two working QR codes: one saves the contact to a phone (vCard 3.0), the other opens a website.
- Both are vector shapes in every file, with error correction M and a 4-module quiet zone, at 28 mm (contact) and 14 mm (website).
- Included: the QR codes as SVG files, a sample .vcf contact per language and an offline Python script (
tools/make_qr.py) to make your own. The README also explains how to use any other QR generator and how to swap the code in the SVG and HTML files. - The sample codes hold the fictional sample details and are meant to be replaced before printing.
Four real language versions
- Arabic: a mirrored right-to-left layout, not just translated text. The pixel pattern and the contact QR swap sides, all text is right-aligned and set in Tajawal. Phone, email and website stay left-to-right in their own isolated lines, and Western digits (0–9) are used throughout. The Arabic vCard stores the name and title in Arabic.
- English, French and Spanish: natural job titles and labels in each language, with correct accents (including accented capitals such as NUMÉRIQUE and MÓVIL).
Two print sizes, ready for the printer
- 85 × 55 mm (Europe / Middle East) with 3 mm bleed: PDF page 91 × 61 mm.
- 3.5 × 2 in (US) with 0.125 in bleed: PDF page 3.75 × 2.25 in.
- Text, logo and QR codes sit inside a 3 mm / 0.125 in safe area; backgrounds run into the bleed.
- Each PDF has two pages (front, back), embedded fonts and TrimBox/BleedBox. A separate "with-guides" PDF shows the bleed, trim and safe lines for proofing.
Editable sources
- 16 SVG files (4 languages × 2 sides × 2 sizes) with live text and named layers: Artwork, Logo, QR codes, Text and Guides.
- 4 HTML/CSS files (one per language, front and back, both sizes) that the PDFs were made from, with colour variables and a size and guides switch.
- PNG previews of every language, side and size.
Good to know
- The PDFs are RGB. Most printers convert them to CMYK; the README explains how to convert with your printer's profile. The bright cobalt prints slightly deeper in CMYK.
- This is a design file package: printing, editing software and Python are not included. The QR script needs the free "segno" library, installed separately.
- All sample details are fictional (person, company, logo, example.com addresses and a +1 202 555 01xx phone number) and are meant to be replaced with your own.
