Overview
Interactive Digital Contact Card is a mobile-first contact page that you host yourself, with an app-like look: soft mint gradients, glass panels and a round monogram. Visitors call, email, open your website or map, save your contact or share the page in one tap. A matching printable card with a QR code brings people from paper to the page.
Four real language versions
- Arabic: a mirrored right-to-left layout set in Cairo, not just translated text. Phone, email and web addresses stay left-to-right, and Western digits (0–9) are used throughout.
- English, French and Spanish: natural interface texts and sample copy in each language, with correct accents.
- A language switcher on the page; the first visit follows the visitor's browser language, and the choice is remembered.
What the page does
- Tap to call, email, open the website and a map link.
- Save contact: downloads a .vcf file (vCard 3.0) in the language on screen.
- Share: the phone's share sheet over HTTPS, or "copy link" where that is not available.
- QR code of the page drawn on the page, with an SVG download.
- Light and dark theme, keyboard focus rings, WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, reduced-motion support.
Simple to edit and host
- All details in one file,
web/config.js; interface texts in a separate file. - Static HTML, CSS and JavaScript: no build step, no database. Upload the
webfolder to any static host (many have free plans); the README explains the steps in English and Arabic. - Fonts, icons and the QR generator are bundled: the page makes no requests to other websites.
Printable companion card
- Front and back, 85 × 55 mm and 3.5 × 2 in, with 3 mm / 0.125 in bleed and a safe area.
- Print-ready RGB PDFs with embedded fonts and TrimBox/BleedBox, plus "with-guides" PDFs for proofing.
- Editable SVG files with live text and named layers, and HTML pages that rebuild the card and its QR code from your
config.js.
Good to know
- There is no contact form and no backend: nothing is sent to a server, and visitors contact you with their own phone, email or map apps. No tracking, no analytics, no cookies; only the visitor's language and theme choice is kept in their browser.
- Hosting, a domain name, printing and editing software are not included.
- All sample details are fictional (person, monogram, example.com addresses, +1 202 555 01xx number) and are meant to be replaced.

Requirements
To edit: any text editor. To preview: any current web browser. To publish: any static web host; HTTPS is recommended (the phone share sheet needs it). To make the printable card from HTML: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. To edit the SVG files: a vector design app such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer or Figma, with the included fonts installed. Hosting, a domain name and software are not included.

Page: current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on phones and computers. Contact file: vCard 3.0, opened by the contacts apps of iOS, Android, macOS and Windows. PDF: any PDF viewer and standard print workflows (RGB, fonts embedded, TrimBox and BleedBox set). SVG: Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer, Figma. Fonts: TrueType (.ttf).
Installation

User guide
- Change your details: every field is in
web/config.js; texts have four language versions (ar, en, fr, es). - Languages: remove one from
languagesto hide it;index.html?lang=aropens a given language. - Colours: CSS variables at the top of
web/assets/styles.css, for the light and dark theme. - Link previews: edit the
<title>anddescriptionlines at the top ofweb/index.html. - Sharing: the share sheet works over HTTPS; elsewhere the link is copied.
- Printable card: it is rebuilt from
config.jswith a new QR code; send the PDF without "with-guides" to the printer. - Contact: there is no contact form; visitors reach you by phone or email directly.
