Overview

Attendance Certificate is a calm, academic certificate for a workshop, seminar, course or event. Off-white paper, one strong slate blue, a precise grid, thin rules and a large typographic hierarchy keep it clear and serious, while a square geometric emblem and a pattern strip along the bottom edge give it a quiet modern character. It names the attendee, the event, the dates, the location, the duration and the date of issue, with two signatories and a certificate number.

Four real language versions

  • Arabic: a mirrored right-to-left layout, not just translated text. The organiser moves to the right, the emblem to the left, the detail columns read from right to left, and all Arabic is set in Markazi Text. The certificate number and web address stay left-to-right, and Western digits (0–9) are used throughout. The wording uses a passive form, so it suits any attendee.
  • English, French and Spanish: natural certificate wording in each language (Certificate of Attendance, Attestation de présence, Certificado de asistencia), with correct accents, including accented capitals such as DÉLIVRÉE and DURACIÓN.

Print shop or office printer

  • A4 landscape (297 × 210 mm) and US Letter landscape (11 × 8.5 in).
  • Print-shop PDFs with 3 mm / 0.125 in bleed, embedded fonts and TrimBox/BleedBox, plus "with-guides" PDFs for proofing.
  • Office-print PDFs at the plain sheet size, with no bleed and the pattern strip set inside the margins, for desktop printers.
  • All text, the logo and the signatures sit inside a 12 mm safe area.

Editable sources and batch fill

  • 8 SVG files (4 languages × 2 sizes) with live text and named layers: Artwork, Logo, Signatures, Text and Guides. They open in Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer and Figma once the included fonts are installed.
  • 4 HTML/CSS files (one per language) that the PDFs were made from, with a size, output and guides switch.
  • Batch fill: load a CSV list of names in the HTML file and print one certificate per attendee to a single PDF, with automatic certificate numbers. Sample lists in all four languages are included.
  • PNG previews of every language and size.

Good to know

  • The PDFs are RGB. Office printers print them as they are; for a print shop, the README explains how to convert them with the printer's CMYK profile.
  • This is a design file package: printing and editing software are not included.
  • All sample details are fictional (organiser, logo, attendees, signatories, signature strokes, event and the example.com address) and are meant to be replaced with your own.

Requirements

To print: use the PDF files as they are with any print service, office printer or PDF viewer. To edit the SVG files: a vector design app that opens SVG, such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer or Figma, with the included Source Serif 4, Inter Tight and Markazi Text fonts installed first. To edit the HTML sources and use the batch fill: any text editor and Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge; a spreadsheet app to prepare the CSV list. No software is included in the package.

Compatibility

PDF: any PDF viewer, office printers and standard print workflows (RGB PDF, fonts embedded, TrimBox and BleedBox set in the print-shop files). SVG: Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer and Figma (import). Fonts: TrueType (.ttf) for Windows, macOS and Linux. HTML: current Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. CSV: UTF-8.

Installation

  1. Download attendance-certificate-1.0.0.zip and unzip it.
  2. To print as is, open print/a4/ or print/letter/ and pick the PDF for your language: the plain file for a print shop, or the -office-print file for an office printer.
  3. To edit, first install the fonts from the fonts/ folder (Windows: right-click > Install; macOS: double-click > Install Font), then restart your design app.
  4. Open the SVG for your language and size from source/svg/, or the HTML file from source/html/, and edit the text.
  5. Read README.md for the full editing, batch fill and printing guide.

User guide

  • Change the details: edit the text objects in the SVG files (each line is its own text object) or the texts in source/html/attendance-certificate-<lang>.html.
  • Many names: open the HTML file in Chrome or Edge, click Load CSV and pick a list with the columns name and id (optional), then print to PDF: one page per attendee.
  • Arabic text: Arabic lines are anchored at their right edge so they stay right-aligned. In Illustrator, use the Middle Eastern & South Asian Every-line Composer if letters look disconnected.
  • Logo and signatures: replace the Logo layer with your own logo; delete the Signatures layer to sign by hand.
  • Guides: hide or delete the Guides layer before exporting a PDF; use the "with-guides" PDFs only to check your layout.
  • Printing: for a print shop, send the PDF with bleed and cut to the trim; for an office printer, use the -office-print PDF at 100 % / Actual size.
  • Colour mode: the PDFs are RGB; for a print shop, ask for a conversion with their CMYK profile and a proof, as described in the README.
