Overview
Wedding Invitation is a romantic, elegant invitation suite: a front and back invitation and a matching RSVP card. The front sits inside a fine gold arch on a soft blush ground, framed by hand-drawn vector leaves and blossoms; the back is a deep sage green carrying the order of the day, the venue and the reply details. Names are set in the flowing Great Vibes script with Marcellus, and in Aref Ruqaa with Amiri for Arabic.
Four real language versions
- Arabic: a mirrored right-to-left layout, not just translated text. The climbing sprig moves to the right, the date reads from the right, the schedule times and the RSVP tick boxes sit on the right. The wording follows the familiar Arabic formula of the hosting families inviting their guests. Web, email and phone stay left-to-right in their own isolated lines, and Western digits (0–9) are used throughout.
- Optional Arabic opening line: a religious opening line is included but hidden by default, as a separate SVG layer and an HTML switch, so the design suits every couple.
- English, French and Spanish: natural, gracious invitation wording in each language, with correct accents (including accented capitals such as SÁBADO and À DIX-SEPT HEURES).
Two pieces, four print sizes
- Invitation in 5 × 7 in (bleed 0.125 in, PDF page 5.25 × 7.25 in) and A5 (bleed 3 mm, PDF page 154 × 216 mm).
- RSVP card in 3.5 × 5 in and A6, paired with the invitation sizes, with a write-in reply form on the front and a botanical wreath on the back.
- All text sits inside a 0.1875 in / 5 mm safe area; backgrounds and ornament run into the bleed.
- Each PDF has two pages (front, back), embedded fonts and TrimBox/BleedBox. Separate "with-guides" PDFs show the bleed, trim and safe lines for proofing.
Editable sources
- 32 SVG files (2 pieces × 2 sizes × 4 languages × 2 sides) with live text and named layers: Artwork, Ornament, Text and Guides (plus RSVP form lines and the optional Arabic line where used).
- 8 HTML/CSS files (invitation and RSVP card per language, both sizes) that the PDFs were made from, with colour variables and a size and guides switch.
- PNG previews of every piece, language, side and size.
Good to know
- The PDFs are RGB. Most printers convert them to CMYK; the README explains how to convert with your printer's profile. Gold is printed as a flat colour, not foil.
- This is a design file package: no printing service and no editing software are included.
- All sample details are fictional (the couple, families, venue, schedule, example.com addresses and a +1 202 555 01xx phone number) and are meant to be replaced with your own.

Requirements
To print: use the PDF files as they are with any print service or PDF viewer. To edit the SVG files: a vector design app that opens SVG, such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer or Figma, with the included Marcellus, Great Vibes, Amiri and Aref Ruqaa fonts installed first. To edit the HTML sources: any text editor, and Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to preview them and save them as PDF. No software is included in the package.
Compatibility
PDF: any PDF viewer and standard print workflows (RGB PDF 1.4, fonts embedded, TrimBox and BleedBox set). SVG: Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer and Figma (import). Fonts: TrueType (.ttf) for Windows, macOS and Linux. HTML: current Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Installation
- Download
wedding-invitation-1.0.0.zipand unzip it. - To print as is, open
print/5x7in/orprint/A5/for the invitation, orprint/3.5x5in/orprint/A6/for the RSVP card, and pick the PDF for your language (the file without "with-guides"). - To edit, first install the fonts from the
fonts/folder (Windows: right-click > Install; macOS: double-click > Install Font), then restart your design app. - Open the SVG for your piece, size, language and side from
source/svg/and edit the text. - Read
README.mdfor the full editing and printing guide.
User guide
- Change the details: edit the text objects in the SVG files (each line is its own text object) or the text in the files in
source/html/. - Arabic text: centred lines are anchored at their centre; Arabic schedule and RSVP form lines are anchored at their right edge. In Illustrator, use the Middle Eastern & South Asian Every-line Composer if letters look disconnected.
- Optional opening line: show the Optional opening line (hidden) layer in the Arabic SVG, or add
?optional=1to the Arabic HTML address. - Colours: the palette (HEX) is listed in the README; in the HTML files the colours are CSS variables.
- Guides: hide or delete the Guides layer before exporting a PDF; use the "with-guides" PDFs only to check your layout.
- Printing: send the PDF at full page size (trim + bleed), print double-sided (page 1 front, page 2 back) and cut to the trim.
- Colour mode: the PDFs are RGB; ask your printer to convert them with their CMYK profile and request a proof, or convert them yourself as described in the README.
